Terms of Service

1. Service

OrganicRSS ("the Service") is a hosted RSS reader that lets you subscribe to, organize, and read web feeds. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account. You may delete your account at any time from the settings page; deletion is final after a 30-day grace period.

3. Subscription & free trial

New accounts start with a 30-day free trial with full access to the Service. We send email reminders before your trial ends. The trial does not automatically convert to a paid plan and we do not charge you when it ends — to keep using the Service you choose a paid subscription from the settings page.

If you do not subscribe, your account is paused rather than charged: you are signed out and cannot use the Service, but your data is retained for a limited period before deletion. See "Termination" below and our Privacy Policy for how long we keep your data.

4. Acceptable use

  • • Do not use the Service to break the law or infringe on anyone's rights.
  • • Do not attempt to disrupt, attack, or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • • Do not use automated means to scrape, mirror, or overload the Service.
  • • Do not abuse OPML import or feed subscription to flood third-party sources.

5. Third-party content

Articles displayed in the Service are fetched from third-party RSS feeds you choose to follow. We do not own, endorse, or control that content. Original publishers retain all rights to their material.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put the Service or other users at risk. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Accounts whose free trial or paid subscription lapses are paused. If a paused account is not reactivated, it is scheduled for deletion after a grace period, and we give you advance notice by email before your data is deleted. See our Privacy Policy for the exact retention periods.

7. Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the application. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the change constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TO BE FILLED IN]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
